At the start of the 2024/25 season, the 93:20 Podcast, the biggest podcast for Manchester City, saw the first of its weekly Newsletters, looking at the club, its fans and the world of football that lay beyond. The aim was never to talk solely about Manchester City, nor review the season. This is not a book that takes a look at the matches in any depth, which proved to be a wise decision. What followed instead was a series of notes on an interesting season, from a City angle, but looking at football as a whole, from fandom, to ticket prices, referees, VAR, a changing media landscape and much more besides. But mostly, it was about having a laugh amongst the angst, especially at Manchester United. Over the course of 11 months, and half a century of newsletters, relive another fascinating year in English football and beyond.

Let me talk. Yeah, not bad.

I’d give up all the books Howard Hockin has written for just one Carabao Cup with Spurs.
Kyle Walker
How Hockin’s book gives an edge to Arne Slot in title race – and Pep knows it.
Liverpool.com
Woke nonsense.
Sean Dyche
Mate.
Ange Postecoglou
Great words, more than you believe!
Pep Guardiola
Interesting opinions, but I felt the graphic sexual content crossed a line.

Interesting journey choreographing the shifting of sands in Manchester.
Jonathan Wilson
Howard would be better-served employing a proof readder.
