The Coronavirus lockdown threatened to put a dent in fans’ hopes when the season came to an abrupt halt in March. When games resumed behind closed doors in June, Leeds United rose to the challenge. Although it was a tense time with a three-horse race to victory, with two games left to play, Leeds were promoted and confirmed as champions without playing, as results went their way.
