Following defeat against Leeds in May 2003, Arsenal went on to win the remaining 2 league games in the 2002/03 season, and then embarked on the 2003/04 league campaign, that was simply unprecedented, not only winning the Premier League but doing so undefeated throughout the entire league season, playing 38 league games, winning 26, drawing 12 and losing 0 (zero). An invincible league title was secured. The following season, Arsenal continued where they left off, winning 8 of their first 9 games.
In total, Arsenal went a record breaking 49 league games undefeated.
