It’s 1985 and Brentford are about to reach the final of the Freight Rover Trophy and play at Wembley Stadium for the first time in over forty years. At the same time, Sara is about to become Kevin’s first girlfriend. Life is looking good.
From that moment on, It’s Brentford Innit is mostly a tale of losing. A tale of Brentford losing time and time again when it really matters and Kevin losing in love, most commonly due to how he reacts to his football team’s defeats. When you experience failure after failure then surely that’s all you can expect. Or is it?
